Actually, are both lineups using the name? Is it only Kim (from the original band) in this one? Or did I see Pepsi in one of those pics?
<font size="4" face="Arial">Kim was never in the "original" band. He was the replacement in the "original" band. If it was only Kim, then the name "Tigertailz" would never be used, it is the Pepsi and Jay inclusion that makes this the REAL Tailz, IMO.

Pepsi was designing Kim's pre-Tigertailz band
(Rankelson's) graphics a few years before Tiger-
tailz was even formed. South Wales is a small
place, they may have been writing (what would
become Tigertailz tunes) years before the band
was formed.

I think most people - I hope - associate Kim with
Tigertailz more than Stevie for a few reasons:

1. Kim's been in the band decades longer than Stevie.
2. Stevie can't sing.
3. Tigertailz recorded their best music with
Kim at the helm.
4. 'Video Frenzy' is a funny rockumentary.
5. Stevie's 'Tigertailz' reeks of desperatism.
6. Kim, after we supported them (for the second
time), came to our Cardiff gig, and hugged me
afterwards, and was very cool and very drunk and
funny.

That's enough.

I think fans of both bands will always say there Tailz is the better, and me personally I prefer Steevi to Kim in the singing department and I could give you 10 reasons right now in a list below ,but wheres the point? I`d much rather see people knocking non-rock bands than slagging off the very few bands out there that are at least still giving it a go.How many people on this board used to be in a band and are not still out there following there "Rockstar" dreams to the very end??.........exactly,you have to give full credit to the ones that are because that is real dedication. When all the bands we love are gone is that when we stop giving our not so favourite rock bands a hard time and wishing that they were still here instead of the POP your gonna be left with......Christ i`d rather have a 3rd/4th/5th rate Tigertailz than Usher & Co

Depends on their motives.

Pepsi does all the graphics, of course, so
presumably he owns their copyright. A good
question for their forum, maybe.

<font size="4" face="Arial">1) I like both versions of Tigertailz but I thought that Steevi was trying to distance himself from the band. Read the liner notes from his solo disc. He says, paraphrasing, that 'he's more than just the former singer from Tigertailz'. That said, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is an awesome song.

2) Better question. Who owns the copyright to Cliff?

3) Dammit Carl. I knew that Steevi was the original singer on their debut. Wasn't Kim associated with the band before that, though?
